What true co-llaboration looks like

I saw a video on Facebook this morning that touched me to the core.

Stacy Westfall, riding a horse bareback, using no voice commands, yet so obviously co-creating this amazing partnership with the horse.

The note posted with the video said:

“The horse she is riding is not even hers.. She is training it for a client and has had it for only 20 days at the time of the ride shown here.. Note that she rides without a saddle or halter and bit and obviously without voice commands. She is using the method used by American Indians.”

I promise you — this is well worth the 6 minutes and 49 seconds.

This is how I want to approach life today (and every day) —  tapping into my own quiet, gentle strength so I can take part in a Divine collaboration, played out with those I work with, create with, interact with.

Ride on…

Amazing indeed! Hmm… I think I’ll fall asleep thinking about “quiet, gentle strength.”

And now because of your comment, Amy, I’m reminded to post a note on my wall saying “Quiet, gentle strength”
